- Fourth Ward Alliance

- Fourth and S.A.N.D

What is the purpose of a Neighborhood Planning Unit?
A neighborhood planning unit provides the Mayor’s Office and City Council with input from local residents on matters such as zoning and land use, event permits, and other planning matters. It’s also important to note that while the City of Atlanta takes neighborhood votes into consideration, it may still override the vote of the NPU or the neighborhood at any time.
